Hey there! I am originally from a 500 acre ranch in Osage County. I grew up with the nickname, “Mother Hen” and frequently found myself caring for and teaching others in various ways all of my life. I developed a strong desire to become a teacher during my high school years and obtained my B.S. Elementary of Education in 2014. In 2021 I was nominated as Ranch Heights Teacher of the Year. I have spent many precious years (19) working in before and after school care programs, summer camps, teaching first grade, and elementary art in public education. God has recently directed me onto a new path of life in the teaching world. My heart longs for children, my own included, to learn naturally and authentically without time constraints and limitations. I hope you find our learning pods to be a great fit for you and your child!
“Jackie endeavors to be Christ-like in all that she pursues. Her life is her ministry. She is one of the most dedicated and hardworking people I have had the pleasure to work alongside. She is a woman who has exceptional Christian character, is deeply kind and compassionate, and she stands on Truth, honesty and integrity. She is responsible and reliable, not to mention incredibly talented, a lot of fun to be around, and her positive attitude is contagious.” - Stephanie Frederick, Teacher/Co-worker
Hi there! I am originally from Overland Park, Kansas, and I have been teaching ever since my dolls would listen! It has always been my dream to be an elementary school teacher. I spent my high school and college days teaching, nannying, and sponsoring various church camps and activities. I majored in Elementary Education and received my Master’s in Educational Leadership at Oklahoma Wesleyan. I am both elementary and early childhood certified. I’m in my tenth year of teaching First Grade! I have a special calling placed on my heart to homeschool my child, along with others, in a small group style with a family-like atmosphere.
“I have worked with Allie for ten years, and I have had the pleasure of her teaching all three of my children. I’ve watched her as she has taught her students with love, kindness, joy, and consistency. She truly loves watching students come to life with new knowledge. She goes above and beyond to make sure that all students’ educational, social, and emotional needs are met.” -Heather Schumacher, Teacher/Co-worker

Ever since we became teammates as First Grade teachers in 2014, we have had the dream of building our own learning pod with a student-centered approach. Our desire and passion is to teach each child how much Jesus loves them and meet each child where they are, drawing from their strengths and creating a joyful environment. Building up children in their confidence through individualized attention and love is the heartbeat of BWLP and WW. Our names come from a belief that each child is a unique and precious gift from the Lord and will bloom in their own time when they’re loved and nurtured. A small learning environment where children feel safe, valued, and experience joy is the perfect recipe for those precious wildflowers to bloom!
PARENT PERSPECTIVE
“We have had an incredible experience with Bloomin' Wildflowers! Our child has thrived, grown, and learned so much. The small class size has benefited our son tremendously as he develops critical early literacy skills. I can't recommend it enough for anyone looking for a nurturing environment with hands-on, engaging learning strategies and ample time to be outside and move. The teachers are incredible and it is a gift to know they truly care for my child!”
- A Pre-K Mom
"I wish I could say joining the learning pod was an easy 'yes'—but honestly, I was scared. Scared to break from the norm, leave behind my child’s school friends, and let go of the dream I had of them attending my old elementary school. Our first year in public school wasn’t awful, but I kept thinking… isn’t there something better? So many kids per class, so much noise, and hardly any one-on-one help. But now? WOW. I took a leap on a wing and a prayer—and it’s been everything I hoped for. The schedule, the outdoor time, the fun, and loving guidance have made this the easiest 'yes' for next year."
– A Kindergarten Parent
“As a working mom, my husband a full-time university student, and neither of us with a background in teaching, we thought homeschooling our son wouldn't be possible. We wanted him to have more one-on-one time with his teachers, a flexible schedule, and honestly, just have fun at school learning rather than trying to meet across-the-board standards. From the bottom of our hearts, we don't know what we'd do without Bloomin' Wildflowers. Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Lewis have made our dream come true, giving our son more than we could ever provide ourselves and more. The small student-to-certified teacher ratio allows them to tune in closely to each student's needs, while the prioritization of being outside lets kids learn about nature and learn to appreciate what a blessing it is. They even occasionally learn how to cook in the church's kitchen. Most importantly, though, the kids are learning to grow to love and serve Jesus. In addition to teaching social studies, math, reading, writing, art, science, and more, Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Lewis somehow manage to teach the class about Jesus through scripture, worship songs, and prayers. And that right there, is absolutely priceless.” - A BWLP Pre-K parent
We have been homeschooling our 8-year-old but knew she needed something different—something more. Through prayer and research, we really liked the learning style that Bloomin Wildflowers offered. We reached out, and the teachers were amazing in working with us to do a trial day to make sure it was something we would be comfortable with. After the trial day, it was a resounding yes from my daughter, my husband, and me. Our kiddo has been behind where we know she can be because of our newer and demanding work-from-home schedules and not being able to provide her with everything she needs educationally. It has only been three months since our daughter has been attending the pod and she is flourishing! She has demonstrated leaps and bounds of progress in her learning. She comes home every single day excited to share about her day, what she has learned, and the teachers keep us updated on her progress and how we can support her growth at home. Our child is flourishing in a million ways because of this homeschool pod, and we are forever thankful we reached out and asked questions.

What we appreciate most is that the teachers meet each child exactly where they are and encourage them to grow in ways that fit their individual learning styles. The environment is truly judgment-free, with both teachers and students fostering kindness and support. Everyone rallies together and gets along, regardless of age or academic level. Students spend plenty of time learning outdoors, benefiting from hands-on lessons across a wide range of subjects. The teachers don’t just focus on math, reading, science, and history—they also teach important life skills. When our child gets to make food on Thursday enrichments and then eagerly comes home wanting to help with dinner, we know it is making a difference beyond just academics. Without a doubt, enrolling her in this program has been the best decision we've made for her flourishing. — A BWLP 2nd Grade Parent
Bloomin' Wildflowers has been such a blessing to our family! Mrs. Lewis and Mrs. Smith care deeply and individualize their instruction for each student accordingly. Because of the ideal teacher/student ratio, they are able to challenge them or provide extra help when needed. I also appreciate the extra time they take to make learning experiences hands-on and engaging! My daughter always shares songs, stories, and experiments they used to help teach a concept. However, the most important thing they do is partner with us in spiritual formation through their Bible lessons and scripture memory. I also love that they spend a lot of time outside.... There are so many things to love! — A Pre-K Parent
"My daughter started school for the first time this year. My husband and I didn’t know if we wanted her to go to pre-k or wait until kindergarten. I am a public ed teacher here in Bartlesville, and we heard about the pod by me working in education, and through one of my friends at work. We felt like this would be right up our daughter’s alley, so we asked if we could schedule a tour. After touring the school, and talking with Jacquelyn and Allie, all my husband and I had to do was look at each other, and we knew. This was the place that we wanted our daughter to go to; we didn’t care what it was going to take. Our daughter has been at the pod this past year and has truly thrived. She has started doing basic math, and she has even started reading on her own. Jacquelyn and Allie have been the biggest blessings that we could’ve ever asked for, and we are so thankful for them. It’s so evident that they truly care about not just our daughter, but our family also. I always tell people that it should speak volumes to them that I am a public ed teacher, and I choose to send my daughter to the pod because that’s how great the pod is. It’s been hands down the best decision that we could’ve ever made for our daughter when it comes to her education." — A Pre-k Parent
"My son has been a part of the BWLP since it started in 2024. My husband and I wanted to homeschool our son, but with my husband being a full-time student, me working full-time, and neither of us having an educational background, it didn’t seem possible. We feel so incredibly grateful to have found such a nurturing homeschool learning pod led by two very dedicated teachers. I’m impressed every single time my kid comes home to tell me the capital of a state (I’m pretty sure he knows more than me now), how he’s adding and subtracting, and learning about diagraphs (two letters that make one sound, just in case you didn’t know like me!).
I appreciate how Jacquelyn and Allie each bring their own interests to the table: Mrs. Lewis once had the kids make the most amazing marshmallows in cooking time, while Mrs. Smith incubates some of her chickens’ eggs in the class each year, providing kids the opportunity to have a front row seat to watching them hatch and learn about their life cycle. I also appreciate their love and belief in the importance of getting kids outside to play and learn. I know Oklahoma recently passed a law to double recess time for public schools, but Jacquelyn and Allie were already doing that and more in the pod. In addition to outdoor play, kids are taken outside for learning lessons and reading (something I don’t remember doing as a kid myself in a public school setting).
Kids aren’t just growing academically here either; they’re learning about God through scripture, songs, and activities. My 6-year-old knows the Ten Commandments, the names of the 12 disciples, the nine fruits of the Spirit, and so much more of God’s word through lessons from Allie and Jacquelyn. I’m not sure how they manage to teach kids so many subjects on top of scripture, but they do, and it’s a blessing my husband and I don’t take for granted. Enrolling our son in the pod is one of the best decisions we’ve ever made, and I hope it is for your family too. " — A BWLP K Parent
